Terms and Conditions

1Definitions

In these Terms, the following words carry the meanings set out below:

• "Platform" means the Target JobSpace website, dashboard, and all related digital services.
• "Target JobSpace", "we", "us", or "our" refers to Target JobSpace Nigeria Limited.
• "User" means any individual or entity who accesses or uses the Platform.
• "Candidate" means a User who registers to seek employment opportunities through the Platform.
• "Employer" means a company or individual who registers to source talent through the Platform.
• "Talent Pool" means the database of vetted and verified candidate profiles maintained by Target JobSpace.
• "Match" means an administrator-initiated connection between a Candidate and an Employer.
• "Subscription" means a paid plan that gives Employers access to Target JobSpace matching services.

2Acceptance of Terms

By registering an account, accessing the Platform, or using any Target JobSpace service, you unconditionally accept these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Platform.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Target JobSpace. We recommend you save or print a copy for your records.

3Eligibility

To use the Platform you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts under applicable Nigerian law.
• Not have previously been suspended or removed from the Platform.
• Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information.

By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet all of the above eligibility requirements. Target JobSpace reserves the right to verify eligibility at any time and to refuse or terminate access where eligibility requirements are not met.

4Accounts & Registration

When you create an account you agree to:

• Provide truthful, accurate, and complete information during registration and keep it updated.
• Maintain the confidentiality of your password and restrict access to your account.
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
• Notify Target JobSpace immediately at info@targetjobspace.com if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.

Target JobSpace reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false or misleading information, violate these Terms, or are inactive for extended periods.

5Candidate Terms

As a Candidate, you specifically agree that:

• All information submitted in your profile — including qualifications, certifications, and work experience — is accurate, truthful, and your own.
• You grant Target JobSpace a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process, and share your profile information with vetted Employer partners for the purposes of recruitment matching.
• Matching is entirely at the discretion of Target JobSpace administrators. Submitting a profile does not guarantee placement into the talent pool or any employment outcome.
• You will not directly contact Employers introduced through the Platform outside of the Platform workflow without prior written consent from Target JobSpace.
• You must notify Target JobSpace promptly if your circumstances change — including new employment, change of availability, or withdrawal from active search.
• Misrepresentation of qualifications or credentials constitutes grounds for immediate account removal and may be reported to relevant regulatory bodies.

6Employer Terms

As an Employer, you specifically agree that:

• Your company and the roles you post are legitimate, lawful, and compliant with Nigerian labour law.
• Candidate profiles received through the Platform are shared in confidence and may only be used for the specific recruitment purpose for which they were provided.
• You will not share, redistribute, sell, or otherwise transfer candidate profiles to third parties without the prior written consent of Target JobSpace.
• All salary and compensation information provided in recruitment requests is accurate and reflects genuine offers.
• You will engage with candidates introduced through the Platform in good faith and in compliance with all applicable employment laws.
• Subscription fees are non-refundable except where expressly provided in these Terms or required by law.
• Target JobSpace does not guarantee that any specific candidate will be available, suitable, or willing to accept an offer of employment.

7Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Platform to:

• Post false, misleading, defamatory, or fraudulent content.
• Harass, intimidate, or discriminate against any person on the basis of age, gender, ethnicity, religion, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
• Scrape, copy, or systematically extract data from the Platform without prior written permission.
• Introduce malware, viruses, or any other harmful code.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform or its underlying systems.
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Platform in a manner not sanctioned by Target JobSpace.
• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security or access-control features of the Platform.

Any breach of this section may result in immediate account suspension, legal action, or both.

8Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, software, and the selection and arrangement thereof — is the exclusive property of Target JobSpace Nigeria Limited or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or otherwise exploit any content from the Platform without the prior written consent of Target JobSpace, except as expressly permitted by these Terms.

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Platform (such as your profile or CV). By submitting content you grant Target JobSpace a limited licence to use that content for the purpose of operating the Platform and providing the services described herein.

9Payments & Subscriptions

Employer subscriptions are subject to the following conditions:

• All fees are displayed in Nigerian Naira (₦) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
• Subscription plans are activated upon successful payment and run for the period specified at the time of purchase.
• Subscriptions do not automatically renew. Employers must actively renew their plan before expiry to maintain uninterrupted access.
• Target JobSpace reserves the right to modify pricing with 30 days' written notice to existing subscribers.
• Fees are non-refundable unless Target JobSpace is unable to deliver the service for reasons within its control, or as required by applicable Nigerian consumer protection law.
• Replacement guarantees (30-day for Basic, 90-day for Premium) are subject to the conditions outlined in your subscription agreement and are not transferable.

10Confidentiality

Both Candidates and Employers acknowledge that information exchanged through the Platform may be confidential in nature. Each party agrees to:

• Keep all profile data, correspondence, and transaction details strictly confidential.
• Not disclose confidential information to any third party without the prior written consent of the other party and Target JobSpace.
• Use confidential information solely for the purposes of evaluating or pursuing an employment relationship facilitated through the Platform.

This obligation of confidentiality survives the termination of your account and these Terms.

11Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

• Target JobSpace provides the Platform on an "as is" and "as available" basis and makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of any content or service.
• Target JobSpace shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the Platform.
• Target JobSpace does not guarantee employment outcomes for Candidates or successful hires for Employers.
• Target JobSpace's total aggregate liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to Target JobSpace in the 12-month period preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits Target JobSpace's liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

12Termination

Target JobSpace may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, for any reason including — but not limited to — breach of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or prolonged inactivity.

You may close your account at any time by contacting info@targetjobspace.com. Upon closure, your profile data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including Intellectual Property, Confidentiality, and Limitation of Liability — shall remain in full force and effect after termination.

13Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.

Where disputes cannot be resolved through negotiation, the parties agree to submit to mediation before initiating formal legal proceedings.

14Changes to Terms

Target JobSpace reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. When changes are made, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and — where the changes are material — notify registered Users by email.

Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with the revised Terms, you must stop using the Platform and close your account.
